Choo Chia Wee, Anthony started his banking career in DBS Bank (Singapore) as a Relationship Manager. He was involved in providing investment advisory services to High-Net-Worth (HNW) Singaporean clients. The scope of work included mutual funds advisory, equity derivative structuring, and currency derivative structuring. Following DBS, he took on the role as a Portfolio Manager in the offshore division of HSBC Bank (Singapore). During his time at HSBC, he oversaw the investment management of foreign HNW and Ultra-High-Net Worth (UHNW) clients, mainly within the South East Asian region. Anthony subsequently became Vice President at Societe Generale Private Banking (Singapore) and was similarly engaged in managing the needs of HNW and UHNW clients, by now his area of focus, in the ASEAN geographical segment. The list of clients include wealthy individuals and families, corporates and institutions, as well as charitable trusts. His duties covered investment advisory (mutual funds, stocks, futures, FX, and derivatives), credit advisory, legacy and succession planning, tax planning, and philanthropy investment consultancy. He left Societe Generale as Director of ASEAN department and was appointed AG Partner for IPP Financial Advisers in 2010.
At IPP Financial Advisers, Anthony provides wealth management services to both Singaporean as well as international private clients. He is the AG Partner of IPP Private Clients Division.
Anthony holds an MSc from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
