Tan Lye Poh

Chief Operating & Financial Officer

Lye Poh re-joined IPPFA as Chief Financial Officer in March 2021. With a career spanning almost three decades, he has extensive experience in the wealth management industry.

Formerly the Managing Director of Operations & Finance at IPPFA, Lye Poh was appointed to the IPPFA Board of Directors in 2010. These positions gave him rich insight into IPPFA’s overall business operations, including its strategy, sales and performance, and compliance functions. At the same time, he also managed a key group of IPPFA’s overseas institutional clients, with total assets under management amounting to over US$1 billion.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at IPPFA, Lye Poh was the Vice President of Business Development at NTUC Income Cooperative Limited, where he was responsible for its business development strategies, and established the licensed financial advisory firm Infinitum Financial Advisory Pte Ltd. Earlier in his career, he took on senior roles with the American International Assurance Company and was a research analyst at a research centre at the National University of Singapore.

Lye Poh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and was conferred the designation of IBF Advanced (“IBFA”) for Financial Planning by The Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore. He has also completed the ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliances awarded by the International Compliance Association. He is currently a Fellow at the Financial Services Institute (FFSI) and Life Management Institute (FLMI).
