Ernest joined IPP in 2015 and founded the ASPEN Advisory Group. As the Group’s AG Partner, he spends his time on training and developing his advisers, while regularly conducting seminars and workshops to educate the public on personal financial management. His professional philosophy is to empower individuals and their families with money habitudes that will help them acquire, preserve and grow their wealth to achieve financial independence early in life.

Ernest worked in the IT industry for 16 years before making his career switch to the financial planning profession. It was a tough decision that has paid off ever since. Today, Ernest is a Certified Financial Planner and Wealth Trainer with more than 20 years of experience helping others achieve their financial goals; during which, he has won numerous awards, including the prestigious membership to MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) and COT (Court Of Table).

He is the author of ‘Raising Financially Savvy Kids’, creator of the board game ‘Money Junior’ and well sought after speaker and trainer. His signature workshops include ‘Parents, Kids & Money’, ‘Raising Financially Savvy Kids’ and ‘Financial Parenting’. His expertise is also in handling distressful financial matters that often threaten to divide family members. Ernest has the financial means to retire, but he continues to provide his services out of passion.

Outside of work, Ernest enjoys reading and teaching. He is also an avid traveller and indulges in gardening and bowling as a means to relax.
