Joanne began managing her own finances at the age of 14 and is a Mathematical Olympiad silver medallist. Desiring to use her gifts for the betterment of society, Joanne joined IPP as a wealth professional upon graduation. Today, she has over 9 years of experience with a loyal client base and has seen many achieve their first million. As an overachiever, Joanne is consistently a top 10 adviser in IPP, winning numerous prestigious awards. She is also recognised by MDRT as a top 5% financial adviser worldwide.

Joanne is passionate about what she does, especially with investments, estate planning and will writing. She has partnered with many MNCs, SMEs and Hospitals over the years to educate corporate executives, business owners, lawyers and doctors on the efficient use of government benefits. She has also appeared on “Common Cents”, a Mediacorp programme, where she spoke extensively on retirement planning.

One of Joanne’s life purpose is providing care to the underprivileged. She regularly volunteers at the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and has set up an ACTs Fund in Vietnam to support the underprivileged using her dividend pay-outs and rental income. She has also helped many debt laden Singaporeans and Vietnamese overcome their financial distress.

During her free time, Joanne avidly reads and enjoys singing and playing the guitar.

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Financial Mathematics from the National University of Singapore and several professional designations including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP), Professional Estate Planner (PEP), Associate Financial Educator (AFE), Singapore Accredited Mortgage Planner (SAMP), Accredited Financial Counsellor (AFC) and Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
